I guess I'm having the same issue as Musclehead. Did my first pin on Frday afternoon in my lateral quad with a 22g, 1.5" needle. (A bit large, I know) Woke up Saturday and could barely walk. Very painful and swollen. Not near the pin point, but in the entire quad. Today, it's a bit better. I've been icing it. Still quite concerning. Any ideas what I may have done wrong?? Was in about an inch and tried to inject slowly, but I was perhaps nervous.

hiya when i did my first injectable cycle i thought it wud be better to inject in quad aswell. i also was very nervous. i used a 26 gauge 1 inch needle i got very bad pain and my thigh swelled up. i cud hardly walk for a couple of days not nice coz u dont no what is wrong. then i switched to glutes with a 22 gauge and 1 half inch needle. its a little awkward but it was a hundred times better. a tiny swelling at first then i even looked forward to doing it. lol give it a try matejust make sure u inject slowly and keep things clean.

you'll get used to it....make sure you use smaller pins from now on

Virgin muscle it sounds like. Like Rob said, you will get used to it.

Ordered smaller pins yesterday for quad shots: 25g, 1". I also ordered 23g, 1.5" for the glutes, but until I get them, the 22g, 1.5" that I currently have will have to do for tomorrows' pin. I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks guys!! I appreciate your advice and support!!

It's your first time, your body needs to get used to it. Tell you what, if you feel that your gears kinda....not dissolved, which i doubt, but just in case.
1) get a bowl.
2) put it in the sink and get your gear
3) run the hot water in the bowl and put your gear in
4) wait for a little bit (bout a minute or so)
5) inject away using good technique

I had the same problems about 2 weeks ago. Like they said virgin muscles get sore and swell. My quads looked about 5-7 pounds larger after the first inj. Now after my 2nd inj in each quad the pain and swelling has drastically reduced. It will get easier, just keep it clean bro.

Did my 2nd shot in the left glute and that too swelled a bit, but it's managable. My quad is getting better. I'm running out of places to pin!! My next is on Friday. I'm thinking of the other quad, but I don't want to go through the pain and swelling again!! How about a delt or the other glute?? What do you think? I have smaller pins on the way for a delt shot.
