The end of week three is tomorrow but it is an off day, so I'll give an early update. Still no negative side effects, that's a good thing. I have started to see an increase in size. It is not a drastic change that would have someone wondering if you were doing some juice. I can see more definition in the muscle. The strength increase has continued. Today in my flat bench routine I did 300lbs five times. Only a few months ago I could only max 300lbs. My energy level is high through my work out. So far I have nothing but positive comments about VAR, I hope it continues.

Well, week four has ended. This was the first week that I didn't feel strong or energetic. I don't know why. However, I did complete the next routine on my bench chart, which included two reps of 315. The pumps I'm getting during work out are unreal. I have gained a little size but my shape and definition have definitely improved. I had a physical this week and most everything looked good - BP and heart rate. However, my cholesterol (both good and bad) was a little out of range. The doctor put me on some medication to help. Still don't have any complaints, the VAR is doing exactly what I wanted - increase strength, better definition and steady but gradual increase in size.

Well week five has come and gone. Not much change, however, my energy has returned. I did not do a chest routine this week, work schedule mess that up. I needed a couple of extra days rest. I'm planning on maxing on the bench this weekend, trying for 335lbs. The pumps during work out continues to be unreal. Still no sides, nothing but positive comments so far.

Sorry, I haven't given you an update over the last couple of weeks, I've had internet issues. I completed my cycle 8/5, I am very happy with the results. Var did everything as advertised. Increase strength, slow but solid increase in muscle mass, and little if any side effects. Final bench max was 350lbs., I started my cylce at 315lbs. I hope my notes have helped some of you. I will definitely use VAR again, it is worth the extra cost.

Just an update after my cycle. Its been about a month since I quit taking VAR. I have lost a little strength, max on the bench is down to 330 from 350. I also can tell a difference in size, not much but a little. The main thing I noticed is the loss of energy and over all mental attitude. That is what I miss more than anything. I would stay on the stuff if I could afford it. I still recommend VAR, especially for those who want quality gains and serious increase in strength. I hope this has helped......

Hi,

Great log :-)

What sort of cardio were you generally doing?

I am planning to do 4 weeks with a fair doseage, to see how it goes; if it's working i'll use it when i buff up for summer :-) I know people will say you need to run it for 10 weeks but i want to test the water, little bit frightened

I usually did 20 to 30 minutes on the eliptical and 30 minutes on the tread mil. However, with my work schedule, I couldn't do it on a regular basis. I don't know if you will see alot of results from a 4 week cycle. I noticed an attitude and energy increase early in my cycle but it was around the 4th week when the strength increase started. How many mg are you planning doing? I did 20mg in the morning and 20mg at night. This was my first cycle and I was very pleased with my results. I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other quesitons...........

I'm doing 40mg same sorta time; doing 20 min - 40min X trainer (hill climb) and around 40 resistance and weights; i've noticed huge strength changes - however, i was always nearing the max weights/stacks on most machines - now i'm pumping 3 sets of 8 (sometimes i do fail though).

Lost alot of body fat too; this is all within 6 days so far - cant wait until week 4, lucky i'm able to go every day of the week i dont have those sort of time commitments... yet.

Did you get a bad tummy alot? Also, this is my first cycle too - i'm going to try for 6-8 weeks - are you going to do this again or try t-bol?
