1st Test E cycle log... - 05-10-2007

HI,

A brief run down of where I'm at:
37 yrs old
219.5 lbs
32% BF
I train 5 days a week for at least 45 min/ ea.
3 on 1 off, 2 on 1 off
Day 1: Chest, Shoulders, Tris
Day 2: Legs
Day 3: Back and Bis
I know my BF is high and I could have put this off until it was lower. I probably eat too much, but it's all high quality food. I think I'll need it through this cycle. I don't track my calories though.
I've also been supplementing with:
Daily vitamin
Creatine for 2 months
NOX for 2 months
Whey Protein for 2 months

I've gained about 10 lbs in the past 2 months, 2lbs in the last week.
I'm obviously not at my potential, I'm aware of this. I'm impatient and that's fine with me.

I'm continuing all of these except the NOX, I don't think I'll need it.

I was wondering if I should back off the Creatine and save it for PCT. Would that be more effective?

I started my first cycle last week:

Test E 200mg/ml
week 1: frontload 4x wk @ 250 mg
Week 2-12: 2x wk. @ 250 mg.

PCT:
Starting two weeks after last injection
Nolvadex: 20mg ED / 6 wks
Clomid: 100 mg ED / 1 wk
50 mg ED / 2 wks

I was supposed to have DBol for this but it's late. It should be here next week.
I was wondering what you all thought about starting a 4 week DBol cycle at week 3?

Also, has anyone experienced headaces from Test E? I 've had some doozies throughout this week.

1 other thing...my damn lower back has been extremely tight. Almost like it's cramping up. I've noticed thoughout this week. Is this from the Test? It gets especially tight when I'm lifting. I'm not sure if it's from the extra weight I'm carrying or the Test.
Regardless, I'm pumped and ready to go !!! I'd go to the gym again right now if I didn't know better.

I'm looking forward to hearing any responses you all have.

It is better to use it for the first 4 weeks as a kickstart, but if you do not have it then you may start it at week 2 for 4 weeks also.

No. One of the reasons is the higher level of intensity of your training sessions and thus this may lead to some blood pressure. I don't think it can be due to the test, usually people who have lower levels of testosterone may experience higher blood pressure, left ventricular mass, and left ventricular hypertrophy.

if your getting headaches i would up the water and get yourself some hawthorne berry it helps with blood pressure and at 30 odd % bf you might need it....- no offence intended.....

you should look into clen or var as part of your cycle to help you lean up....

your training looks good. I am a little concered with your Body Fat. You stated you don't track your calories and to be honest it is not that essential to monitor your calories down to a tee. Although, you do need to monitor your Fats (Trans Fat, Saturated Fat, Total Fat, and colestrol) in the foods you eat. Also you need to stay away from oils like fried food BBQ sauces, coco oil, peanut oil, tropical oil. Second remove starch from your diet no more white bread no more white potatos and white rice there are alternatives to all these. Now this will stop the adding of extra fat. Now to counter the BF you do have you will need to kick start your metabolism start eating every couple of hours every day you don't need to pig out just eat every two to three hours. Important make sure in the morning you have a high fiber source like grape nut cereal or bran flakes. From know on start eating nothing but wheat bread. And last but not least you will need water and cardio. look below.

one gallon of water a day no less
cardio
you do want to loose weight but you do want to burn fat my suggestion is get on a tred mill three times a week do not run over a half an hour also run at a high to med high intencity three times a week. You need to keep it under a half an hour so you body doesn't start breaking down for energy you just want to elevate you heart level and burn fat thats all. Hope this finds you well

Backing off Creatine... - 05-11-2007

Thanks for the suggestion Trainwiser, I've decided to eliminate the creatine until PCT. I think your right, I'll need all the help I can get during PCT. Then I will do a load phase and maintenance as usual. I just didn't want my weight to drop due to the reduction in creatine in my system while I'm on, but it should be minimal and temporary.

High Body Fat... - 05-11-2007

JaNatural,

Thanks for the info. on my diet. I could use all the feedback I get, so please don't hesitate. After reviewing what you posted I'm really not that far off from your recommendatiion.

Generally speaking, my diet consists of:

Whole wheat / whole grains only
lean beaf, pork, fish, poultry
minimal pasta and complex carbs ( I try to keep these whole grain as well)
a lot of skim milk
yogurt
whole grain cereals
fresh vegetables
olive oil
oatmeal
some fruits cheese ( alot of it) I love cheese !!!
egg whites / egg substitute

I've been eating about 3 meals with snacks / protein drinks with raw oatmeal in between. I guess I need to eat more often.

I have to admit, my diet is improving but it wasn't that great a couple of months ago, so I'm sure that it will take time to notice improvements.


I see you recommend more cardio. I've haven't done any cardio recently. I was concerned that it would rob my body of protein for growth

I need to up my water intake. Currently I drink about 1/2 gl / day
1 gl seems like alot, i'll be in the john every 30 min. lol
I 'll give it a go anyway.

I'm increasing water intake as you suggested. The headaches aren't as bad today, I don't know why. Maybe because week one was a frontload (1000mg / wk Test E)? I'm not sure. I do notice that i'm very tired during the day, more than usual. I had to skip my physics lecture today. I was knodding off in my earlier classes. I could have easily slept through the lecture. I came home and slept for 2 hours then went to the gym for a little over an hour. Today is chest day, my favorite !!! Wouldn't miss it for the world. I've been feeling great at night though. Other than that, nothing really noticable with the Test, no side effects or great energy or power increases. Obviously, it's too early to expect anything, but I can't help looking for something start. I have gained about 4.5 lbs this week! WOW !!! I'm surprised, but it's probably from the increased calorie intake.

I've decided to log my activites and experiences here throughout the next 10-12 weeks.
I took some photos on day one, and today at day 7. I'm also tracking my gains with my major musle groups (bench, squat, rows). I plan on posting these in the next day or so.
I'm going to try to take weekly pics and post them here throughout.

I hope you all follow this and monitor my progress, I could use your feedback...

1. Make sure the milk is Fat free no 2% no whole milk just straight Fat free. you will still find it has some fat in it. this will help your body get the calcium it needs with out raiseing your BF%

Very thorough explanation, makes perfect sense.

I drink skim milk only

As far as fruits go, i tend to eat a banana or 2 in the AM maybe an apple or 2 mid morning. I also buy pints of vanilla low fat yogurt and mix stawberries or blackberries with it (frozen). That's about it for fruit. I usually eat the yogurt in the AM or late AM. Occassionally I'll mix dry oatmeat with it.

Cutting the cheese is difficult, I get cravings for cheese, I don't know why, I love it ! I guess I'll have to reduce my intake if I want some definition.

I'm going to post some stats and pics. Take a look and tell me what you think. I'll try to keep them updated. I'm a little sloppy right now, but my strengths have gone up alot since I've increased my body weight. Maybe i'll introduce some Clen or Var towards the end of the cycle. What do you think? I don't know much about this stuff, I need to research more before I do.

Hey bro,
When was the last time you had a blood panel done. with a full lipid panel all test levels thyroid liver growth insulin level ect? Cheese buy it sell really won't help you get cut if you stop eating although with BF% I would problably say you cholesterol level HLD level is probably some where around 240- 250 which is not good. Although, cheese with contiue to add BF and toss your cholestrol through the roof. You have some heavy stuff in your system right know and i want to see you reap the benefits and grow like a giant. You should do a little reading on cholesterol and gear. Can't wait to see the pic bro.
