I use creatine and glutamine first thing in the morning with my MRP shake. I also use directly after workout with my PWO shake. You wont feel the effects of either the creatine or the glutamine because the effects of the gear will over power the supps, however bothe the creatine and the glutamine are doing there job and will aid in better pumps and recovery.

Try it out on cycle and compare to not using them.
na I'm not trying it out, dont want to be disappointed with results, again I try to stay on all year round, on or off a cycle. Hate taking cell-tech first thing in the morning, its hard to go down, so I take it only pwo, and no loading

I agree, the extra creatine in your body just pissed away and creatin is creatine, but I like cell-tech, I dont need to mix my glucose in it (very convenient) and its flavored

Creatine isn't just creatine.. You gotta remember that there are different types of creatines that work better on other people.

Hey - 01-08-2008

Has anyone heard of Creatine Monophosphate? I used monohydrate once and man I got so bloated. I heard the Monophosphate does not allow you to retain water.

Now, when you guys take it as a PW drink, is that all you take or are you also doing a high protein shake?

note: didin't want to start a new post since it is related to the creatine question.

I heard of monophosphate. I Don't really know if it prevents bloating or not but i heard that ethyl ester gets absorbed better by the blood... In the end you really gotta try all forms of creatine and see which one works for you.

I take creatine in the morning alone and then 30 minutes after i have a decent breakfast.
But after the gym you can mix creatine with your protein shake...

I take my creatine by putting a scoop in my mouth then drinking water along with the scoop and swallowing it... does anyone know if that works as well or is it better to mix it with water first then drink?

So YAM what creatine brand would you recommend?

Also i stumbled upon this bad boy Liquid Creatine Serum by Dimaxx

Serum creatine is absorbed way better but i read it can sometimes be unstable although this one looks promising.

You're right, good catch.

From my experience of nearly 7 years of using creatine and every brand i could try, i found they all did the same thing, even the mixes that say no bloat still gave me water to the muscles and i still got the terrible cramps and monster wind

Maybe i'm just unlucky! On cycle, if you're taking anavar it's supposed to be beneficial... i didnt think so, i just felt 100% more bloated (var bloats you too) and couldnt eat!

Save the creatine for off cycle.

There is no doubt creatine will give you water retention but it can be beneficial since it helps prevent injury and joint lubrication. As for bloating, its just how your body reacts to it... If you have tried every creatine brand out there and you still get bloated doesn't that tell you that its your body not the creatine? I tried two brands, and one gave me diarrhea the first time i took it, then i would get constipated. Like i said its all on your body.

With research, it's been said the gains you receive with anavar ON cycle coupled with creatine is greater and the gains stay and minus the creatine bloat... Research is paramount...

Having used creatine on and off for 7 years, although the slight 'sides' the benefits i reap are well worth feeling a little bloated with the bonus of eating less garbage, the point i'm trying to get across is from personal experience you are going to end up getting very similar results across the board on brands... your body can only use so much of the creatine you in-take, you could take all these funky new compounds of creatine but at the end of the day your intake wont change, efficiency possibly, but like i've said from personal experience it really doesn't make any noticeable difference. By week 2 you're at the same point with any brand, that's why some offer loading phases and some don't a) to get your body ready for it and b) to ensure you have optimal intake of creatine. In my opinion spending 8.00 gbp on 1kg micronised creatine is better than buying some brand with shitloads of additives & even sugar (don't buy the flavoured brands!) and for the possibility of 'better' intake, it just seems a con to me... mix your drink with your favourite squash and take the loading phase like a man
