Should upp-erbody exercises come first? -
06-09-2007
Q: I generally start my workouts with upper-body exercises and then go to the lower body for the second half. Do you think it really makes a difference in the final results if I were to switch the order, or if I alternated upper- and lower-body exercises during the workout? - J.J., Stillwater, OK
A: I don't think it makes any difference at all. Variety is the spice of life and there are no set patterns that you have to follow in your routine. Whatever makes you happy and keeps you motivated to exercise is what you should do.
