any suggestions - 05-03-2008

been off the dbols for a week now and man what a diff they made!!!(god i miss my dbols lol)
still doin the same weight but strugglin alittle more and seem to be burnin out quicker!!
the pump i used to get on the dbol seems to be no where near what i get now!!! i used to get so pumped on the dbols i could hardly drive home lol
currently my rountine runs
3 exercise of each muscle with 3 sets.(pretty heavy sets at that)
day1
forearms
tris
bi's
day2
chest
shoulders
back
day3
hams
thighs
calves
and abs every day
1 day off

would i be better to stick to the same routine or step it down to somethin like this
day1
bi's and tri's
day2
chest and back
day3
forearms and shoulders
day4 legs
and abs still everyday
day 5 rest

i dont like spread out routines like that but im thinkin it will be easier on my bod!!
any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated!!!

how bout:

chest/back
off
lower body
off
shoulders/arms
off
off or repeat cycle strating with lower body

this is more than enougth to gain bro...i enjoy this one, allows you to isolate aswell as getting those big compounds done...


just remember the squats deads/rows and dips....

peoplethink that you need to train one body part each session to make gains...thats bull shit, you will gain well training like this, you'll only need 8-10sets max for large body parts, this is great for strength too....remember stimulate do not anialate.....

the bigger guys or guys who compete tend to adopt the bodybuilding routines because they need to address their weak points and/or have enougth mass, so need to increase seperation and shape etc.

if functional mass and strength is your aim, which it should be unless you plan on modeling, then 3 way splits or functional methods should be your aim...this is as close to bodybuilding style training as i usually like to get, but in reality its another upper/lower split....

gotta give everything a decent run just to see if it works for ya bro....
