i tried a 3on 1off when i was cycling superdrol, and i def had the recovery forit but it wont be long before you burn out, i can stay with this for a month max and im done, but then im alot stronger now so its to be expected...... i like one on one off or two on one off >

you will def need more recovery days if your pushing heavy for strength.....3 days a week is good.
