My son (6 years old) has pretty severe asthma. He's been to the emergency room a few times and we now have a nebulizer and inhaler at home. His asthma seems to be triggered primarily by colds. Pretty much 100% of the time that he gets a cold the dreaded "cough" starts soon thereafter. He is like 10 for 10 with colds and asthma.
We're really frustrated (and nervous) for his severe asthma attacks. He is too young and we are desperately looking for an alternate natural cure. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

As far as I know Clenbuterol is used for asthma treatment but I am not sure if such a young boy may use it. May be other forum members have any ideas....

About catching the cold I think you have to give him some vitamins (Vit C especially and Kiwi) in order to strengthen his immune system.

all natural local honey will really help with treating asthma. It has to be local as it will help his immune system tackle things that locally cause his asthma. Look to local farms for honey!

Due to my profession...and personel I will give some opinion on this. MOST ALL natural remidies do not work. They will help some, and even ,may only mask the symptoms. Speak to your MD..this sounds much like allergy induced asthma...Your nebs should be Xopenex and Pulmicort as needed. Young kids need less alpha 1 based drugs such as Albuterol, inless attack is severe. Singular and or Zyrtec as prevent. meds also. Yes it sounds like alot..but once under control and the Singular and or Zyrtec kick in...life will be much easier. Also, if this is allergy induced asthma...it is usually diminishes with age...most between the ages of 5-8. Hope this helps......
