Tell us a bit more about yourself my friend. What are your goals? How do you envision yourself optimally? What is your current condition? How do you feel about yourself right now. I am sure that we can help a lot, give us a little more to work with Amigo!

Sounds like you want the natural drug free approach. If so the best way is eat very clean and keep the carbs low. Read the book the Eat Clean Diet. Written for woman but applys to men as well.
Exercise is important 6 days per week with at least 40 min of cardio and also do weight training.
Exercise is 20% and diet is 80%.

Good luck.

diet diet diet - it is the most important thing we do with regards to keeping your body fat levels under control...
The older you are the more control you need over your food intake - there is no way I can eat like I did when I was 20 and get away with not putting on any fat- getting old sucks sometimes

Getting fat after 40-45 y.o is also caused by the hormone disbalance beginning at this age, your test levels are getting lower, the methabolism is getting slower and this is also causing the fact that you get more fat.
try to eat the major part of calory intake in the first part of the day as in this period of time the methabolism is faster.
As for the rest - more cardio, and aerobic exercise.

Sounds like pretty good advice, I'm 37 now and the one fear I have is growing older.
