Last week I wrote, "And back to our normal schedule next week!" Ah,
those fateful words, all too cocky, wouldn't you say?

My computer crashed -- 100% bombed -- on Sunday. After an hour on the
phone with the sweet Indian Dell support tech (dot, not feather), I
caved to her determination that I'd have to recover to the original
factory settings, meaning everything lost.

Not completely lost, of course, because I do have a backup drive
running. Only... some of the most valuable files were corrupted and
had to be decompressed manually, file by file instead of directory by
directory. Once done, not too many of the programs and data files were
connected properly; all in all it's been a nightmare through which if
I'd have had any choice whatsoever, I'd have bailed.

As it was, I had no choices and instead soldiered on, and as you can
see, things are settling back to normal, little harm done. Still,
there was *zero* time for a new blog post, even less creative energy
and as for positive attitude... yeah, right. Severely lacking.

However, since a good many readers had trouble viewing the last Austin
blog entry, let's try that one again. I've re-sized the photos so the
page will load in smaller browser windows. If you missed it last week,
