pain urinating - 09-15-2008

i'm doing first real cycle 7 1/2 wks in:
test-e 500mg/wk 14wks
eq 500mg/wk 12wks
i have had mostly mild pain urinating for about 3-4 wks...never had this problem before. I read in a sticky on this forum that this can be a sign of kidney problems from steroid use, how concerned should i be and is there an herb, etc. i should take to help? again the pain is not severe, but definitely uncomfortable, i feel it in the urethra(?) area, and its not an std i got checked. thanx

NONONON it can be a side of toxicity in the liver or stoens or just about anything....Bro get your self some cranberry juice and dilute it 1 part water to 2 parts cran and drink that for a bit also rehydrate yourself if your not drinking enough water....Try staying away from salt and see how that works if it doesnt then it is a def sign something else is wrong and maybee you should get it looked at............I would go see Doc and give him the low down......if it diesnt work..but in my exp it is a fact that your kidneys arnt being flushed so try the water and cran first for a few days and big key here stay away from salt/sodium

thanks bb you could be right too but sometimes the cranberry juice flushes the kidneys out enough it should nix the infection...........it wouldnt be a bad idea to get a urinalysis done to just for your peice of mind...but if you arein the states it could be expensive i dont know....i have duel but live in canada sooooo it is free here to see a dr we dont pay for shit here.......

thanx man, ill do the cranberry thing, i've been drinking very close to a gallon of water a day...that's all i drink, and i've been eating clean...low sodium. i know i should drink even more water its hard, but with my diet i'm surprised i'm having problems. It started about 3-4 weeks into cycle so i know it's the cause. i don't have health insurance, but if it sticks around i guess i'll have to get checked out...don't want to go to my regular doctor though, like you talon i've been going to him since i was a kid, but i don't think he'd be as understanding as yours...definitely would'nt give me roids

While he may not be to understanding, he can't go telling anyone either due to patient doctor confidentiality (or whatever its called). I asked my mom who has been an RN for 34 years and she said basically the same thing as Talon. Flush it out good with cranberry juice and water, and if it doesn't subside after that than get the urinalysis. Talon is a smart guy and has good resources from his wife and doctor! Very good advice!
