Large lump in delt...Extream Pain! Help! - 08-08-2008

So I just took by LAST inj of Test E 300mg Wednesday night. Did everything the same as always. Took a hot shower massaged inj point, rubbed alcohol over everything...and injected.
I did notice that the muscle was still very tense and it took me longer than normal. prob 1-2 min total time. then i pulled out and had a little more blood than normal. though the needle could have just been dull and tore more muscle. but it stopped when i massaged the muscle again.

well yesterday my delt (where i injected btw) was very sore and has gottin worse.
there is a huge lump (almost the size of my delt) i cant lift my arm even half way up.
i think im running a small fever and have a head ache. I sat in a hot tub lastnight for about an hour and layed on a heating pad all night and no better.
Now I have had this happen before when i injected in my glute. and the test had crystalized and got better in about a week.

What should I do? I want to go to the doctor but dont want to tell them I took test...??????

Sounds bad bro, did you aspirate? I had some swelling before when hittin my delt and the swelling went all the way down to my arm. It went away in about 5 days. Keep Ice on it, and try to elevate it as much as possible to allow for the swelling to decrease faster. If the site gets hot and red, then definetly see the doctor.

hey guys,
well i went to the doc friday afternoon and said that it was infected and it had localized and crystalized very badly. He told me to put heat and ice on it. Heat to disolve the crystalization and ice for the infection. Also gave me antibiotic and good Anti Inflamatory and pain killer :-D
Its getting better but was def very scarey!

getting better slowly. I have a lot more movement and a lot less pain. the infection is still there some i can tell by the light redness on the skin but its getting better day by day.

but you know what the cool thing is? I actually got the Doctor to give me some Nolva, Clomid and HCG for my PCT...ha, he's a cool guy and wanted to make sure I came off right lol

but i now know to inject a LOT slower :-)

Great to hear it's on the mend!
Bit of a newbie myself though and one thing I don't understand is

How can the speed of injecting cause infection? The gear is sterile so even if it knots or forms an abscess - it will be a sterile abscess.

Some other cause is needed for infection? Am I correct here?

..and again great that you got to a good doc early!

Mind you cgAlex wasn't using an Axio Test.... it was a different company which produced a Test Enanthate 300 and I'm not sure if they are pharmaceutical or not, I don't think so...

I dunno.. happened to me a time or two when I was first starting out (delts are my fav spot to inject when it's their turn) I had the lump, it was red and HOT, and hurt...
took a clean needle and sucked out the juice... got rid of the pain and the lump both times.. and just learned to be more careful where I poked. Maybe crap advice.. but it worked for me.
