my journey to fat loss - 01-21-2008

I first measured my food for three days. I needed to get an idea of what serving sizes were. I logged my food for those days and found when eating clean it was harder to get the calories I needed.

I took my weight and timed it by 10 so at the time it was 208. 2080 calories was my intake. It may have been a bit low but strict nonetheless.

I hit the gym and ate clean. 85% of it was the diet it seemed. I never actually believed that. I had several plateaus that I had to work thru but they came and went.

After about 10 lbs of loss I had to readjust my cals once again. I hit the streets and jogged daily. Usually about 2 miles a daywhich I had to build up to. My gym membership expired so running and cardio took its place.

I started to learn more about HIIT. I started to try this every few days. Finally down to 180lbs, i looked at my body and hated the fat in the abs. Actually I still hate it. My ideas and views of fat in our society kinda made me mad. Still running daily and eating clean I finally made it to 175. I have tettered between 170-175-180 on occassion.

I may have lost some muscle but I have gone from a xl to a m in shirts. 36 pants to 31 in jeans. I still want more. Perfection is not what I am looking for but I am stuck at the current wieght. Food is not that important in my life as much. I do think I have a tendancy to binge more than I should on occassion.
I would suggest to all whey protein as a supp and drinking lots of water.
