Hi I was just wondering if any of you have been on Test for more than a year or two for HRT ??

Im just curious because my doctor put me on 200 mg ew for the last two years . I feel good but my cholesterol is up 11 points of whats considered normal high . Anyways when I got on HRT I told him that I felt best at 200 mg each week and after running blood test it shows my test levels at a high normal . Im border line high test levels but still in the normal range . IM 36 yrs old ( not sure if that matters with my question or not . Anyways I just was wondering if any of you have been on this long with this dosage ?? Or longer .. Thanks alot guys

Are you saying you are reading in the normal/high range while on 200mg EW?

Thats correct . 3 days after my shot it went up to the normal high end . Its border line high at the highest . these numbers are what it shows for me at the lowest and the highest

the range is 320-1100 . 320 being the low normal range and the 1100 at the normal high range . I usaly peak in 3 days after my shot for a high of 1080 4 days later it drops to around 340 .

Honestly 200 mg ew seems to be alot from what I have read ,but my doctor has gone with this as a max amount . I do feel the best on the 200 its just at times I wonder if its to much for so long ?? Im a powerlifter and I can really feel a change if I try to bump down to 100 ew . Tierd weak moody ect ..

So have any of you been on this ammount for this long ?? Thanks again

check with your doctor before bumping it down, he would know best, you feel it 3 days after your shot? they usually provide cyp (upjohn) and its long acting, you must be feeling the test from last injections 2 weeks ago, cause if you think about it by using long acting test your injections for this week is for the next weeks. anyways check with your doctor before adjusting the doses. Curious does the doc let you do your own injects or do you have to go in every week?

I am curious to know exactly what test you have been subscribed? The reason I ask this is most tests that are used in HRT are long estered tests with a much longer half life than the 4 days you are explaining. To peak on day 3 and then have that random drop back down on day 4 does not sound right.

How are you getting these numbers, did the doc re-test you on day 3 and then again on day 4?

If this is truly the case, it sounds as if you are using test prop which is a horrible compound for HRT.

Well..i know you can lower you cholesteral through diet. I lowered mine 80 points in 8 weeks by eating cleaner.

I've been doing some research and have seen some charts. The blood plasmas peak 1 to 2 days after injection and don't go to basal amounts to about 10 days after injection. This is for Test cyp which is a long acting ester. I'll post a link to the charts when i find it.

Thanks for talking with me on this stuff guys . Ok as far as the test goes yes it is enthnate ,it has been from the start . And it does elevate withen 3-4 days at least on me . I know because as I said before the doc did blood work 7 days after my last shot and then re tested 3-4 days later after the shot of 200 mg as this is how he came to the perscribing of 200 mg ew . Again it border lines above a high normal for my age 36 however it is still in the normal high range 3-4 days after .

On the question on if my doctor gives the shot or do I do it my self its both ways , Actualy its the nurse that gives my shot when I go in . However I really dont have the time to allways go in so I also have a perscription and I do most of the shots for myself .

Im a UPS driver and I have really good insurance so the funny thing is my insurance will pay for the shot if I go in and get it done by the nurse each week but the wont pay for it if I buy it and do the shots myself

A bottle of test e is around 96 dollars at wal-mart pharmacy so my Doc will call it in for me each couple of months , but I do still try to make it in so my insurance will cover it .



Anyways Im still curious if any of you guys are on test at low doseages for over a year or two . It seems like 200 mg each week is kinda high from what I have read . It looks like most guys get around 75 mg-100mg ew . I guess Im lucky to have a cool doc but at the same time I kinda think maybe its to much from what Im reading

I was on Androgel maximum dose for 6 months and still had very low test. My doc recommened me try Test Cyp @ 200mg EOW to start.

Have you gone with 200 eow yet ??
