There should be a thread on how to avoid stretch marks after all bodybuilding is also a sport to make yourself look good as well as gain strength.

The only thing I can suggest is use cocco butter an try not gain mass too fast give your skin time to adjust to the weight gain..

I also have some bad stretch marks as well bro, got em on my lats, bi's, and chest, i have read where a vitamin E capsule is supposed to do the trick, ya pop the capsule and rub the oil into the stretch mark, i tried this for a while(maybe 2 weeks) didnt see any difference and got bored with it, and just live with them now, maybe someone will have the answer here shortly...........

so i just talked to my dermatologist and she said there is no cure-all cream for stretch marks. She is going to get me some samples of retin-a(acne medication) and she said the vitamin a in it will promote the growth of new skin cells. so ill keep everyone posted on how it works

Yes...that does sound good bro, please keep us informed on how it goes, is the Retin-A a prescription? or is it over the counter? do you know?

prescription acne medication, she is giving me a box full of samples tho to see if it works

p.s.> i talked to the strength coach at the university im at and he said "Stretch marks? you shouldn't be worried about stretch marks. That just means your getting huge!" but he also told me to buy some pure cocoa butter and lather it up 3x a day. that should help too
