Pasta Good or Bad - 03-17-2008

I just wanted to know what you bro's think about pasta...

The other day, two hours before my workout, I ate a medium size plate of pasta with very little meat sauce. This was the very best lift day I ever had. I had energy all the way through the routine and had energy to burn. This was also the very same day I attempted to check my bench-press, and I improved my max by 30lbs.

Now, this may be a coincidence, but I did have energy to burn after this particular routine. Other times I did this routine, normally I'm spent afterward.

Also, I would think calories may play a factor here, but how much I can’t really say. If too many calories outweigh the energy benefit, then it may not be worth eating it. That is why I'm posting this to see what everybody else thinks.

All I am definitely sure about is everything I touched that day (i.e. weights) seemed light and I felt really good.

No gear was involved during this time, I'm still waiting for my order. It was a natural gain, with the exception of a few supplements...

What is your take on pasta? Good or Bad?

Pasta is awesome for growth, energy and endurance. I'd go with wheat pasta though. It's whole grain so it won't convert directly to sugar. It's like white rice vs. brown rice. It's got more fiber in it also. I love pasta man. It can give you awesome workouts.
