truthfully, i go for the cheaper whey protein. it's good for what i need, which is more protein delivered to my body in a timely fashion. as for someone who's cutting much like yourself, i'd go with a protein that's not as high in fats as the ordinary whey protein. the whey isolate is rather low in fat, so that would be good for you. also, since youre cutting, youll be having hunger pangs at night. unlike the other types of protein, milk protein, once mixed with water, turns into a very thick blend. this makes you feel really full when you down it. if you're planning to add supps, i wouldnt. id opt for just buying them separately. its cheaper to buy them separately than to have it mixed in. you can look through the premixed blends to see if there's a particular blend that suits you. hope this info helps.
