Smile Meal After Cardio - 03-03-2007

A little info first:
I do cardio 3-4 times per week on an empty stomach 40-45 min
Treadmill, Cross-Skiing, Stepper and Stationery Bike
Before it i drink Whey with Water ( 1 scoop) 24g protein
and 10 min after the cardiot i take 30g Dextrose and then a 30 min later Oats with half scoop Whey and Half Scoop Casein. What do you think about it? Can everybody say what is their favourite meal after cardio and what you usually do

I just started doing cardio in the morning 3 times per week for 30 minutes. After runing I feel so pumped

After cardio I take BCAA, glutamine and protein shake rich in protein and carbohydrates.

After I do cardio (which is about 5 times a week) I take L-glutamine and maybe yogurt or oatmeal...

What I do before my cardio I take my one protein shake then after I just have a water to recover from that type of workout.

interesting... looks like I need to try some of these ideas.

I only drink water after my run and never feel rejuvenated at all.

pwo shake:
waxy maize + BCAA's + extra Glutamine
10 mins later quick acting form of protein powder in water
1 hour later protein/carb meal

good advice.my meal after one hour of cardio,wich is one day per week i drink a protein shake "fitup"from pro nutrition.with 18 g of protein and a nice flavor of strawbery.yummyyyy.

I'm used to do my cardio in the evening, so i eat only before doing it.
After the cardion i take maximum a protein shake.

I do carido 4 days a week, low intensity for an hour. have a protein shake before then breakfast (usually egg whites and baked beans) .... In general I stick to the 2 - 2.5 hour rule, eating every 2 - 2.5 hours
