T4 -
08-01-2007
I really don't think that ng and mcg are an interchangeable unit...so no, don't split it four ways to get your 25 mcg. If you are intent on taking this medication, you best bet is probably to try and find a website from the company that produced it and see if they have dosing information. However, don't be in such a hurry to take T4. Your thyroid is important for lots of things- to include regulating calcium deposits for your bones. If you start messing with your thyroid hormone levels you could really throw things way off and have more complications than benefits. Besides, your T4 levels are are on a negative feedback loop. If your body senses to much T4, and it will eventually, you will stop producing natural T4 and you may actually gain more weight after your T4 cycle is over. Personally, I would rather run a couple of miles a day to cut fat, rather than take thyroid hormone. Also, you should look into a phenominom known as a Thyroid Storm. To much thyroid can also decrease your strength...and nobody wants that.
