Promote growth ? -
05-04-2008
I did several of those daily caloric calculator things online, and they pretty much base it on your age, height, weight and workout frequency: according to the calculators i need about 2880 cals daily for maintenance
I've constructed a diet plan for the summer that consists of nothing but clean eating, lots of protein, complex carbs, ess. fats... the works and that tops me off at a little over 3000 calories, my question is... will this still promote muscle growth? as it being only a few more calories than what my body actually needs ?
(My goal isn't to bulk up... since its summertime, but gradually gain muscle mass and strength...i also plan on altering my diet every 3 weeks to support whatever gains I've gotten)
