is what i do is take about 40-50grams of protien and a apple one hour before i work out then i only drink water while working out. then after my work out i like to get any where form 80-100 grams of protien with about 40-50 grams of carbs to spike my blood sugar level and get the protien where it is needed. Just my way and thoughts.
